The Deputy Minister of National Defence Visits the Higher Army Support Military Command, the 700 Military Plant and the Armed Forces Chemical Laboratory

On Monday 04 April 2022, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr Nikolaos Chardalias paid successive visits to the Higher Army Support Military Command headquarters in Goudi, the 700 Military Plant facilities and the Armed Forces Chemical Laboratory in Piraeus.

In the context of the visits, Mr Chardalias was briefed by the Commanders, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis (Higher Army Support Military Command), Colonel Petros Perimenis (700 Military Plant) and Colonel Dimosthenis Chadalanis (Armed Forces Chemical Laboratory), on their organisation, mission and current activities. He also toured the premises, the productive departments and the laboratories and discussed with members, civilian personnel and soldiers serving a high specialisation tour of duty.

At the same time, the Deputy Minister of National Defence was briefed, in detail, on the productive capabilities and the construction line of 700 Military Plant clothes and footwear, as well as the laboratory equipment of the Armed Forces Chemical Laboratory.

Finally, Mr Chardalias congratulated the Commands, the members and the civilian personnel on their high professionalism and perfect specialised training and praised their work and contribution with regard to the productivity and efficiency of the two extremely important Logistics structures, concerning Armed Forces operation.

During the visit in the Higher Army Support Military Command, the Deputy Minister of National Defence was accompanied by HAGS/Chief Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis, while in 700 Military Plant and the Armed Forces Chemical Laboratory, by the Higher Army Support Military Command Commander Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis and HAGS/ORD DTE Director Major General Ioannis Mavrogenis respectively.
