The Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias will meet, on Friday 2 May 2025, at 13.00, with the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates Dr Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Jaber, who will conduct a visit to Greece.
During the meeting, which will take place at the Ministry of National Defence, the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates will be accompanied by senior executives of the EDGE Group, a leading defence industrial group of his country.
The talks, among other subjects, will centre around the opportunities for strategic cooperation in the exchange of technical know-how and the development of defence innovation, in the framework of cooperation of the Greek Ecosystem (Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation) currently under development, with the corresponding Ecosystem of the United Arab Emirates (EDGE).
