The Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias will travel to Brussels, on Monday 1 December 2025, where he will participate in the EU Foreign Affairs Council, in Defence Ministers’ Configuration of the EU Member-States (FAC – Defence).
During the morning working meeting, the Defence Ministers will discuss the latest developments regarding Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal and the NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte are expected to join the meeting.
The Defence Minister will later proceed to a working lunch where they will discuss the issue of European Union’s Defence Readiness, which includes various programmes such as SAFE.
After the completion of FAC – Defence, the Greek Minister of National Defence will participate in the meeting of the Board of Directors of the European Defence Agency (EDA).
