The Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence Mr Antonios Oikonomou attended today, Wednesday 15 September 2021, the SALAMINIA-2021 festivities, where he laid a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, as Government representative.
Various other officials also attended the ceremony: representing the Hellenic Parliament, the MP from B΄ Piraeus Constituency Mr Dimitrios Markopoulos, representatives of embassies, representatives of parties, a representative of the Armed Forces, Miss Marianna Β. Vardinogianni, president of the Foundation of the same name, as well as local bodies.
