On Thursday, 24 August 2017, the Alternate Minister of National Defence, Dimitris Vitsas, visited the 1st Army Aviation Brigade in Stefanovikio, Magnisia, where he was welcomed by the Commanding General of the I Infantry Division, Major General Georgios Vynios, and the Commanding General of the 1st Army Aviation Brigade, Brigadier General Georgios Matzouranis. During the visit, he was briefed on the Brigade’s mission and was given a tour of its premises.
