The Deputy Minister of National Defence Alkiviadis Stefanis went to Thessaloniki on Tuesday 27 October 2020.
He attended the oath-taking ceremony of the New Officers of the Military Academy of Combat Support Officers, as a Representative of the President of the Hellenic Government.
Furthermore, he visited the Municipal Art Gallery of Thessaloniki – Casa Bianca, where he was given a tour of the “Military Saints in Byzantium” exhibition, hosted under the aegis of the Ministry of National Defence, in the context of the festivities in honour of the Patron Saint Demetrios, of the city’s liberation and of the National Anniversary of “NO”.
Her Excellency the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou honoured the oath-taking ceremony at the Military Academy of Combat Support Officers with her presence, as well as the tour at the Municipal Art Gallery.
