From Thursday, 10 February, to Sunday, 13 February 2022, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Chardalias will visit Armed Forces Formations, Services, Units, and Surveillance Outposts in the North, Central, and East Aegean in order to be briefed by their Commands on their current operational – training activities and meet with the cadres, enlisted soldiers, and civilian personnel.

Specifically, Mr. Chardalias will make the following visits:

Thursday 10 February

• In Skyros: 135^th Combat Group, 22^nd Guided Missile Squadron, and HERON UAV Echelon.

• In Aghios Efstratios: The island’s Surveillance Outpost.

• In Samothraki: 41^st Regiment Tactical Command.

• In Limnos: 130^th Combat Group, 88^th Military Command Headquarters, 88^th Medical Battalion, the Garrison’s Childcare Centre and the island’s Naval Station.

Friday 11 February

• In Lesbos: 98^th Higher National Guard Battalions Command Headquarters, “PROVOSKIDA” Surveillance Outpost, Hellenic Navy Gunboat “POLEMISTIS”, and the island’s Naval Observation Outpost.

• In Psara: The island’s Surveillance Outpost.

• In Panaghia: The island’s Surveillance Outpost.

• In Chios Hellenic Army and Air Force helicopter readiness echelons, Hellenic Air Force PEGASUS UAV Echelon, and 96^th Higher National Guard Battalions Command Headquarters.

Saturday 12 February

• In Samos: “PSILI AMMOS” Surveillance Outpost and 79^th Higher National Guard Battalions Command Headquarters.

• In Agathonisi: The island’s Surveillance Outpost.

• In Arkii: Meeting with local authorities and bodies.

• In Farmakonisi: The island’s Surveillance Outpost.

• In Kalolimnos: “AGHIOS NIKOLAOS” Surveillance Outpost.

• In Kalymnos: 5/42 Evzone Battalion and Fallen Officer Memorial in Imia.

• In Pserimos: The island’s Surveillance Outpost.

Sunday 13 February

• In Kos: 80^th Higher National Guard Battalions Command Headquarters, Hellenic Navy Coastal Patrol Boat “ANTONIOU” and “SKANDARI” Surveillance Outpost.

• In Symi: Symi Island Defence Command and “AGHIOS FANOURIOS” Surveillance Outpost.

• In Kinaros: Hellenic Navy Fallen Officer Memorial, meeting with the sole island inhabitant kyra-Rinio (Ms. Irini Katsotourchi).

Furthermore, he will meet with local Religious, Regional, and Municipal Authorities and Commanders of Security Forces Services.
