The Minister of National Defence Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos received today at a working meeting the Presidents of five Unions of the Hellenic Defence Systems (EAS) plants’ and other representatives of the company’s employees.

More specifically, the representative of the employees at the Hellenic Defence Systems Board of Directors and President of Hymettus Union Mr. Panagiotis Doukas, the General Confederation of Greek Workers (GSEE) Board member and President of the Federation of Chemists Mr. Efthimios Theoharis, the President of Elefsis Union and Secretary General of the Western Attica Labour Centre Mr. Evangelos Liggos, the President of the S.E.ELL.A.S. Centrals’ Union Mr. Konstantinos Harissis, the treasurer of the EAS Aeghion complex Mr. Hristos Panoutsakopoulos, the President of the EAS Lavrion complex Ms. Maria Koubli, the President of the EAS Aeghion complex and member of the Panhellenic Metalworkers’ Federation Ms. Ourania Birba, the Vice President of the EAS Mandra complex Mr. Georgios Bolos, the member of the EAS Hymettus Union Board of Directors Mr. Kostas Mytilinos and the President of the EAS Democratic Independent Employees’ Movement (DAKE) and member of EAS Hymettus Union Board of Directors Mr. Apostolis Vassilaras.

During the meeting, issues preoccupying the administration as well as the employees at the Hellenic Defence Systems (EAS) Company were discussed.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Panaghiotis Karambelas, the President of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of EAS Mr. Konstantinos Pilalis, the Special Secretary of the Ministry of National Defence Mr. Antonis Oikonomou and the General Director of the General Directorate of Defence Investments & Armaments (GDDIA) Mr. Dimitris Georgiopoulos.
