The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr Nikolaos Chardalias met today, Friday 4 March 2022, at the Ministry of National Defence, with the Ambassador of the US Embassy in Greece Mr Geoffrey R. Pyatt, who was accompanied by the Embassy’s Deputy Chief of Mission Mr David Burger and the Defence Attaché Captain (US Navy) Michael E. Biery.
During the talks, which were particularly friendly, issues of mutual interest were discussed, focused on the latest developments and the shaped situation in Ukraine, in the context of the continued Russian military offensive.
