The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos attended the “Schuman Security and Defence Partnership Forum”, which took place in Brussels, on the 20th and 21st of March.
The Forum was organized for the first time, based on the Strategic Compass, and it will take place every two years. It aims to reinforce the dialogue on international security and defence between the EU and its partners.
It was attended by representatives from 66 countries, international organisations and institutions of the European Union. The Forum underscored the importance of partnerships, in the context of the Strategic Compass, for the enhancement of security and stability, as well as for the promotion of peace and cooperation.
