The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias went to central Peloponnesus today, Tuesday 15 March 2022, where he visited Army and Air Force Formations and Units.
In particular, the Deputy Minister of National Defence visited the HQs of the Centres’ Command (IV INFANTRY DIVISION), the 11th Infantry Regiment and the 124 Basic Training Wind in Tripoli-Arkadia.
He also visited the 11th Medical Company at the premises of the Pan-Arkadian General Hospital of Tripoli, where he also met with the Director of the General Hospital Mr. Anastasios Tzanis, and discussed with inpatients of the Hospitalisation Department.
In the context of his visits, Mr. Hardalias was briefed by the Commands on their history, organisation, mission and current activities. In addition, he toured their premises and discussed with personnel, conscripts and
civilians.
In parallel, the Deputy Minister of National Defence, in the context of the MOD’s cooperation with local communities, had a meeting at Tripoli’s Officers Club with the Deputy Regional Governor of the Region
of Arkadia Mr. Emmanouil Skanzos, and the Mayor of Tripoli Mr. Konstantinos Tzioumis.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence was accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Higher Military Command of Army Support Major General Nikolaos Trantafyllou, and the Commander of the Hellenic Air
Training Command Major General (AF) Georgios Vagenas.
